Milton Keynes Hospital Charity fundraising
Here at MLG Healthcare, we are aiming to raise £10,000 for new cancer services for the Milton Keynes Hospital Charity. In order to achieve this, we have organised and will be taking part in several fund-raisering activities.
About Milton Keynes Hospital Charity
Milton Keynes Hospital Charity fundraises for all wards to enhance the experience of patients and families. All the money they raise provides the funds needed to purchase items over and above NHS provision.
Fund-raisers
So far this month, we have organised a Charity Bake Sale in which we raised £146 for the new cancer services at Milton Keynes Hospital. All of our staff got involved and baked a selection of beautiful cakes, tray bakes, cupcakes and cookies; this went down a treat with the rest of the offices. We also organised a raffle in which two people won a Patisserie-Valerie cake which was a great success.
We are also currently running a themed dressed day on the last Friday of every month. So far we have have had a wacky shirt day, and the next we have planned is a wacky hair day.
Other fund-raising events we have lined up is a sponsored skydive on 4th August, the charity football game and a Fun Run in which we will be asking for donations and sponsors. We are also in the process of organising a talent competition which all our staff will be involved in.
