Can you give us a two sentence bio about yourself?
I am a hard worker who is always up for a laugh. Striving to succeed in everything I set my mind to.
What do you do at MLG Healthcare on a daily basis?
Working on the Client Team I speak to hospitals daily, send shifts out to the sales floor and work closely with all teams to ensure we supply the best candidates. I’m sure everyone in the office will tell you that I snack a lot too!
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The thing I enjoy the most about MLG is working with the best people. Everyone is so supportive and have helped me learn so much in the last year. It’s a very fun environment to be in and I’m definitely a full time giggler at work!
What advice were you given in your career that has stuck with you?
One piece of advice which my grandad told me growing up that I’ll never forget is, ‘If at first, you don’t succeed, try and try again’. It has stuck with me throughout my school years and now in my careers. I don’t give up easily and always like to challenge myself.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. My first job was as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant working with Autistic children. It was such a tough but rewarding job and I loved watching the children grow and develop into their own little characters.
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
Most weekends I spend it with my best friends going to watch Milton Keynes Lightning Ice Hockey! I am currently training in Gel nails so enjoy pampering my friends and family in my spare time too.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My biggest accomplishment is my skydive which I completed last year in aid of charity. I jumped from 13,000ft and managed to raise just over £2000 for such a good cause. It was the best experience of my life!!
What is your most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession is probably my car. I worked hard to save up for it and finally got the car that I wanted. It gave me my sense of freedom and I love being able to go out whenever/wherever I want to. My best friend and I often go for road trips and just love to sing our hearts out in the car!
Tell us something different about yourself?
I am Level 3 qualified in Childcare Learning and Development! I have only worked at MLG for a year, since the age of 16 I have always worked in childcare so moving to MLG was a massive career change for me. I have learnt so much not only about the role I am in now but also a lot about myself. Saying yes to new adventures definitely pays off!
