This month it was Aimee’s turn to take part in our monthly Spotlight. We discussed multiple topics, such as what she wanted to be when she was younger and her favourite part about her job.
Can you give us a two-sentence bio about yourself?
I am a positive, chilled team player who always gives 100%. I love a challenge and am always up for learning new things and gaining more experience.
What do you do at MLG Healthcare on a daily basis?
I work in the compliance team, ensuring all candidate documents are processed and fully vetted, and I also make sure nurses are compliant so they can go out to work. I’m always here to support the team with any queries.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The thing I enjoy most would be being part of the MLG team! It is always a happy environment with lots of positive energy in the office. I also enjoy that no two days are the same, and I am constantly learning new things. I look forward to developing and growing with the business.
What advice were you given in your career that has stuck with you?
The key to success is to focus on goals, not obstacles.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Princess!
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I also love a good Netflix documentary.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Passing my driving test with 0 minors!
What is your most treasured possession?
My collection of Buddha’s.
Tell us something different about yourself?
Before joining MLG Healthcare, I was a qualified Dental Nurse.
